EZgo 1997 XI 875 Wire melting
I am haveing problems with my forward and reverse lever. One of the wires on the back of the switch is melting down. It is the wire at the six o'clock position. The wire goes to the controller.Could it be a bad switch, wire or Controller. I have taken apart the switch and cleaned it Looks to be ok.Also repaired end of wire that melted off.Once I took it for a test drive and it started to smoke the wire again

you have a weak connection at that location. Could be a dirty stud on the F&R board or cam or is could be that the nut holding the wire in place is simply causing a bad connection.
