Default 2004 TXT upgrades

I have recently up grade a few thing on my series cart. I have put a lift kit and 22" tires and a complete set of 4ga. cables. The cart has a 350 amp controller on it, I would like the cart to have more pulling power without having to change to 48 volt. Can I up grade the controller to a 400 or 500 amp or what I have already is about as good as I can expect for 36 volts?

400 will give you about 1/8th more power. Or a little more than 10% improvement.
500 would give you something that you could really feel the difference. And it would likely be a controller you could use at 48v when the day comes.....if it does

If I get a 500 amp controller to work with a 36 volt setup, it will also work with 48 volts?

yes it will but if you haven't upgraded your motor yet, you MAY burn out the stock motor.

You can turn down the 500a controller until you are ready for 100%
