97 EZGO not running due to high voltage from surface charge.
I'll probably get flamed for this again but here goes.
Got a 97 Ezgo golf cart with brand new U.S. 6v batteries, cables, and everything is in top notch order. If you fully charge it with the powerwise charger it will not run for a few minutes after you unplug it due to the surface charge voltage being too high. I assume this is a design flaw. Any fixes or has anyone experienced this before? I could install an Alltrax controller but that's kinda a expensive fix for such a minor problem. *** Edit, I should include that it is a Non-PDS cart with a 1206 ezgo/curtis controller. |
