Default '84 Electric ezgo electrical probs goes by itself and jumps gears

New resistor coil, brand new batteries, microswitch, solenoids, new throttle connector and wall. When buggie is in gear it will go on its own with out pressing the pedal in reverse or forward. When you press pedal it will jump as if it misses a gear we tell everyone to hold on so as not to get whiplash. The coil does still get bright orange but only the top part not all the time but most of time. Did replace some of the cables for batteries. Only things not new is motor, the plug to plug it in to charge. Anyone know what this might be?

Sorry this one slipped by everyone.

Check the accelerator linkage and the wiper arm to make sure it gets all the way back to the first post on the accelerator board.

Check the micro on the accelerator board.

Double and triple check your wiring.

Question Re: '84 Electric ezgo electrical probs goes by itself and jumps gears

Cart moving on its own is Micro switch on the wiper board not shutting off because either the throttle linkage is not right or the little arm on the micro is bent out of shape not making contact with the linkage like it should.
