Disassembled, re-assembled, now sloooow

'96 36V EZGO DCS

I took the cart down to the frame (except i did leave the motor and tires attached) recently to paint the body and chassis. The only part I have replaced in the process is the controller heat sink. I am 99% sure everything is wired back up properly (it takes a charge, headlights work, goes forward, reverse and brakes on command), yet it doesn't have the same pick up it had before the facelift. I'm looking for some troubleshooting guidance. Where should I start? Wiring? Batteries? Controller? Motor?

Since nobody else has replied, I'll give it a shot.

I'm new to carts also, but if it were mine, here's what I would do. (No particular order)
*Check rolling resistance. Parking brake off, Key off and FNR in Neutral, it should move freely. (I seem to remember reading something like being able to move it with one hand on the ground while sitting in cart.)
*Check Batteries. Battery Pack voltage and Individual Batteries. (Chart attached below. Individual batteries should be within 0.1V of each other when fully charged, after surface charge has been dissipated)
*Check all Battery cables. Heavy gauge cables between batteries, solenoid, controller and motor. (And FNR switch if it has one - also check FNR Contacts)
*Check control wiring. If it runs okay other than being slow, the smaller control wires are most likely connected correctly, but I'd check anyway.
*Check Throttle. If you have a Potentiometer or ITS type throttle, is it sending the right voltage to controller?

If you used lead paint - It might just be the added weight.
