Motor is direct drive via gearset to the differential. Often times a DCS motor will sound like it is spinning when in fact it is stalling/sputtering/jumping, caused by low voltage/current.

Well I tested the batteries as you suggested and you are correct, I found one battery that is down to 2.5 volts unloaded and a neg voltage when loaded. I thank you so very much. I was about to open the rear diff before I talked to you folks. Again thank you.

And what was the readings on the other batteries?? because if you run a DCS cart on low volts it will SMOKE the controller and that cost big bucks

The rest of the batteries only dropped between 1 and 2 tenths of a volt when loaded. One question I do have is when you install a new battery in a series circuit and the current is equal in all parts of the circuit how long will it take for the new battery to come to a complete charge?

I Have another question, The old batteries are rated at 75 amps for 110 minutes but the new battery is much higher is that OK to mix battery capacities?

I installed the new battery in the cart and charged it up for 3 hours, flipped the service switch and NOTHING! no motor noise no movement no nothing. Hummmmm I flipped the service switch back to service/tow position and waited a few then flipped it back to run and off it went running as usual. The old girl down the road is as happy as she can be to have here cart back and running again. Thank you all!
