Ok these are the pictures that he took. There were no instructions with it so not sure about the wires.

It's not a 48 to 12... It's a 16 to 12.. It plugs into the ground wire of the light kit on a factory style orientation via a T-Style connector. I don't know how they plan on hooking that into the system with only one plug. They need to send you some directions, but I assure you that's not a 48 to 12.

I talked to the guy that I got the reducer from and he said that they don't use them. He said they are fire the 2008.5 and up which are supposed to have the 6 8 vt . So my question now is, will it hurt the battery pack to leave it hooked to the 3rd battery like the instructions showed to hook it up to. The blue wire us hooked to the jumper off the 3rd battery and the black wire is hooked to the black jumper behind the 3rd battery. Or do we need to get a reducer. The only thing that will be running off of it is the front and rear lights. No signals or horn. Thanks

Are your electronics (Controller and OBC) located in a console between the batteries (4 12 volt batteries?)? Or are they located on a panel behind the batteries? let me know. Ill tell you where to hook your wires.

They are behind the batteries. There is open space in the middle between the batteries.

Negative to the negative post of the driver's side battery. Positive to the positive post on the same battery.

Will this hurt the pack? Since it is running off of one battery?

Depends on how much you like to use your lights. The average user won't experience an issue with it at all.

What is the best kit to buy for an 09 Precedent. This is exactly the type of issues I don't want to run into - as electrical is not my strong area...if you had to buy a full Precedent light kit, great quality, includes everything you need, straight forward install...what would you go with?

Thanks
