If it's a CC IQ: Tow/Run to tow position. Disconnect one of the battery pack cables to prevent any shocks/shorts. Use two wrenches to loosen the nuts on the terminals (one to hold one nut and one to turn the other). There should be 3 or 4 bolts connecting the motor to the transmission/gear housing. The speed sensor should disconnect easily. The motor should slide out with a little elbow grease as needed. It's heavy, so be careful. I back my cart onto ramps and get underneath it. I use my chest as a place to put the motor when I get it free of the housing.

Safety first...Use wheel chocks and disconnect those battery cables!!!
