Default Club car battery cables

What size battery cables should i use for my 36 volt series club car? Can i make them myself or should i purchase a premade set. Trying to this cheap but dont want to waste my time or tear stuff up. Anyone know where i can get a good motor cheap for this cart?

. . . the terms "battery cables", "good motor" and "cheap" should not be used in the same sentence . . .

Ok then same paragraph...

Upgrades cost money. The cheapest "good motor" would be to send yours to PQ and get a bandit rebuild.

PlumQuick Motors , look up online call and talk with Robby or Rick they know motors great guys , 4 gauge or 2 gauge is an improvement over stock , depends on whether or not your upgrading controller to 400-500 amp

4 ga min , you need to find a fine strand welding cable and ends to make your own. I myself like solder ends over crimped but that's me

IMHO, just buy Scottyb's battery cable set. They are professionally done in both appearance and performance.

I had previously spent the money on stranded cable and a swedge kit and connectors and etc etc and Scottyb's are just so much better.
