Voltage problem
I have a '97 DS 48 V Clubcar.
I have headlights, 12v outlet and air horns connected through a voltage reducer. None of the accessories work. From the reducer to the power block is 14.4 volts. From the power block to the accessory is about 3 volts when the acc. is on. All connections seem to be good. I think it may be the voltage reducer ground is bad. Does this sound right? Thanks in advance..... |

Re: Voltage problem
If you have the 18 to 12 volt style reducer and it is bad, I have two of them. You can have one for the cost of shipping.
I would go through all the connections and make sure they are good solid clean connections. The best thing is to go with a 48 to 12 volt reducer. |

Re: Voltage problem
That's very generous of you and I thank you. But, I have the 48 to 12v.

Re: Voltage problem
Have you checked the acc switch. Sounds like your reducer is working after re-reading post.
