I'm curious/worried too. Does regen wear out motors faster? [Mine is a custom D&D with a 500a 1268] The regen is set fairly light [most is about 40a regen]. Is there an issue? [I love my regen!]

LOL relax. Your motor brushes are serviceable wear items just like your brake shoes/pads. A reasonable limit to regen current, mine is set to 100 amps, or 1/3 the rating of my motor, is in order to minimize excessive brush wear.

Now don't go pushing pushing too hard on your brake pedal or it will wear your brake shoes out!!
