Default Curtis 1204 To 1205M Wiring

Replacing my Curtis 1204 with a 1205M-5603.
Is the wiring the same?
Is there any wiring I need to change?
The 1205 has 4 high voltage lugs, from what I can tell ,I won't use A2.
Is that correct?
I've fried one controller this week, I surely don't want to make it two.

I have just fitted one to my cart, best go to the Curtis web site and download the installation manual. The wiring is the same but there are alternative options and I think you may have to use the A2 controller terminal. The manual does not give an option for not using A2. The controller is programmable so you will need access to the programmer model 1311 or 1313 or have the supplier set it up. If you have a 3 wire 5k - 0 pot or MCOR you need to have the throttle setting on type 9.
