Re: Club car controller install speed question?
I'll try that. I did use throttle extension. Carts rear is jacked up in that pic. Bracket is pretty upright. Fluid motion of linkage.

Re: Club car controller install speed question?
What is the pack voltage reading while the cart is going 8mph at wide open throttle?
How fast did the cart go on 36v before the conversion and 48v upgrade? |

Re: Club car controller install speed question?
I really didn't take a reading before but I know it wasn't 8. Voltage is 48-49

Re: Club car controller install speed question?
Maybe it was the same. It was fall when I last drove it. The batteries would die in like 5 minutes.

Re: Club car controller install speed question?
Something still wrong. What are the common components between last fall and the 48v conversion?
And stupid question but, is there 48v between controller B+ and controller B- ? |

Re: Club car controller install speed question?
You may also want to unplug the "reverse" signal wire from the Controller (Blue Socket) to make sure is not active with the cart in Forward..

Re: Club car controller install speed question?
That controller has a lot of settings, but if all of your riders are comfortable with reverse having the same performance as forward, You can leave it as is.
The reverse tab on the controller is just an input the controller uses to reduce the speed to a user programmed value, if used, it must only be triggered when the FNR is on reverse. |
