can someone please tell me how to test a controller on a 1992 ezgo
also can you test the speed controller on the same cart

You have one of these correct? To check the pot hook your meter up to the two small leads going to controller. Take them loose from the controller. Set the meter to OHM's and as you press the gas pedal it should climb to 5000 or just shy of 5000 OHM's. The reading should be zero with pedal at rest. It should climb steady without a lot of jumping.
