If you want a F/R handle I have some EZGO's which are better than the C/C's are I can order the contactor. Look on line for them.
I also have some C/C handles to but they are stock peices. I have the heavy duty EZGO stuff here.

The heavy duty ezgo stuff is what I want. I might be wrong, but it seems like there would be far less to worry about.

Well I thought today was going to be a little better but it turned out to be a bear! I got everything wired and decided to take it for a quick spin. The throttle would only work about half way!
Got it back to the garage and got the computer hooked up and made sure it was OK, it was. So then I crawl under it and start on the MCOR switch. I rember why I hate C/C again now. It's working but by the Altrax controller it's not going wide open. :rolleye::(
I guess I'l have to buy a new one are swap it out to a EZGO pot. One is about as hard as the other.;)>:(

On another better note I did get the brakes all clean and relubed and working correctely now along with the park brake!

Andy, unless someone has converted the throttle input on that cart before you got it, it does not have an MCOR. MCOR was only in later models. It is also not an IQ cart. Just trying to clear stuff up so people wont be confused. Good luck with it. The best course of action is probably what you did, which is to start from scratch and convert to series. Good luck.

Question Re: Need help!

Well it does have a MCOR. I have it running. It just needs a new one to get it to wide open throttle. I got under it and took all the throttle stuff loose and adjusted on it. I either had a little gas are a lot of gas so I picked a little for now. I may adjust on it some more and I may just order a EZGO pot and put on it. I'm not a C/C guy so I don't know what it was. All I know is this is the number on the tag on the dash.
A9547-474707 =DS model 1995!
and this is the wiring schematic for it.

I know why I don't like C/C though. Everything is a pain to get to with out the motor access panel. The MCOR is a pain in the A$$ to work on. The only good thing was the brakes are easy to do!

I know what it is now though and that's a series cart with F/R contactors and a 48 volt 400amp Alltrax controller Hooked to a stock 80's model 36 volt motor.

In the schematic that you posted, that is not an MCOR. That is the continuously variable pot that CC only used for about a year and a half.

Not a problem. Just trying to clear up a little confusion. That continuously variable pot sucks. It would probably be best to change it to a PB6 or something else like you said. That is why they dont use it anymore and switched to V-Glide and then MCOR.
