![]() I have a 1999 series cart. SPM 48400 contoller,4G cables on my hunting cart. I installed Scotties rev contactor and Now the contacter and solenoid get REAL hot when spraying the food plots. HELP PLEASE

![]() Looks like the (-) small solenoid post wire terminals may be touching the silver base of the main (+) big cable?

![]() They were close but not touching,I reposition them anyhow. I disconnected the battery pack when I Saw smoke from the solenoid,now when I reconnect battery power ,key off, the controller is flashing???

Scotty There is a burned spot at the solenoid positive post. The two red wires to that post are from the center post of toggle switch and power to the controller. The ground wire from the rev contactor goe0s to the solenoid ground terminal which is tied to B-. The directions show a wire from ITS micro switch to the + solenoid post, I do not have that wire??? |

![]() Looks to me like you may have had a short between the positive small post and the big post next to it in the left side of your picture. You had some of the red wires going toward the big post and I think one of them may have shorted.
