Default Quick questions

Hey guys,

I'm going to look at a g 2 electric tomorrow that the guy wants $300 for. I figure it a good deal just for the parts. He said after he put the new batteries in it quick working. Is there something real quick I can check? He also said he has 2 chargers but doesn't know if they work. Is there a way to test them as well?

Thanks

Not really quick enough to check while you're there but you can use a meter to measure voltage of each battery and of the pack, also to see where the voltage is supposed to be and isn't. The chargers may not come on unless they see a battery pack voltage of a certain level so you kinda need good batteries to check them.

I just got a G2e for $150. Put batteries in it yesterday and it had a few issues before it was ready to ride.

Look for rust on the frame and battery tray. It’s a major problem on Yamaha carts.

I had the main positive fuse blow a couple of times (above the drivers side wheel fender) and I had some issues with connections such as the FNR switch. Mine also has rust problems :-|

The guy says he doesn't know why it quit running, I was hoping it was just that fuse from when he changed batteries.
