dana spicer transaxle
I have a 2006 bad boy buggy with a dana spicer trnsaxle in the front. I currently have the front transaxle out and I replaced all the bearings and seals throughout. my question is do the front cv joints have cir clips? I did not see any when tearing apart, I even took cv joint apart and cleaned and didn't see it while cleaning. There are grooves that would suggest there should be. Also where can I purchase them since this is an older BBB. Thanks for help

Re: dana spicer transaxle
I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you, but could you post pics of the axle? (Both assembled and parts) I'm courious about it and I'm sure some others are too.

Re: dana spicer transaxle
I'm having difficulty figuring out how to submit photos, I've submitted them but I'm not seeing them.

Re: dana spicer transaxle
2 of the pics are of the shaft w a groove in it. That side goes into the cv joint which is the other pic. Cv joint also has groove which leads me to believe that there should be a cir clip, however I found none when disassembling. The transaxle has never been worked on before, my father was the original owner. Thanks for any and all help
