Default 2007 Ezgo Series Cart upgrade help

I just bought a 2007 Ezgo series cart and would like some pointers on controller upgrades and lift kits please.

There is a huge local shop that sells carts, parts etc and has this controller for 200.00 used.

500 Amp Series GE Speed Controller w/Converter and they will offer a 1 year warranty. Is this a good controller? I have seen others refer Alltrax

I know I will need to upgrade the cables to 4 or 2 gauge.

Lift kits refer to new rack and some have drop spindles or full front lowered cross member etc. Which would be needed or how do I tell if it has the new rack.

The GE speed controls are good. We have sold them for many years. They are made in the USA. They will run on 36 or 48 volts.

I went with a drop axle as many said they spindle lifts bounce all around and I hear about camber issues.

I put a drop axle lift on and it rides like factory.

I am going to go with altrax from carts unlimited so that I will get a complete package of a matched solonoid and diodes and whatever he includes. Scotty has the best prices I have seen anywhere online and has A1 customer service....and I'm not even a customer yet. But when I get to that point in a week or two carts unlimited is where I will buy.
