Default speed drops on grades

What is the best way to diagnose where my issue is when my speed drops on hills? I have a 36v series cart, US 2200 batteries that are almost 3 years old, 4 gauge wires, factory controller and factory motor. It does have 23" tires though, but issue was there with factory wheels and tires.

start by checking voltage at controller terminals "B+" & "B-" while going up hill, then repeat test with "B+" & "M-" terminals. this will reveal power delivered to the controller, & the power delivered to the motor.

What make/model battery charger?
Not all of them will fully charge US Battery batteries.....

Here is a SoC chart from US battery.
Voltages given are taken 12 hours after charger shuts off.

If that's the case, according to the chart, mine are only about 60-70% charged when done.

I'm not sure on distance, honestly. We use it with our grandson in the neighborhood or camping, so it's usually time based.

The stock control is engineered for 18" tires and 2 passengers.
You have 25% larger tires and seating for 50% more passengers.
Both of these things will have a negative effect upon hill performance

To build on what Scotty said. Even with stock everything you still will slow on hills.
