Yeah - A good first meter... but nothing you want to depend upon or evaluate a $750 pack of batteries with IMHO.

What, wait?! are you trying to tell me that a $5 volt meter may not be 100% accurate? actually, i have a few of those and they been pretty good for "general use". its not the one i would use everyday at work (they are not "heavy duty" by any means). i checked the calibration of the amp meter function against several other meters & a digital power supply and it was within .01 amp accurate, not bad for its "practically free" price point. i have heard others say theirs werent that close to accurate, so consistency may not be chinas strong suit.

Every one I have was free. I use the free coupon and grab one almost every other or third time I'm in there.

But those little in dash volt meters are not much above the HF multimeter but it was closer to the better multimeter than the HF one.
