48v-12v reducer hookup clarification
To make my converter operate with the key switch, do I run the red wire (48v input) to the key switch and then to the fuse block?

What model cart? Don't touch the keyswitch wires on a Rxv.

Re: 48v-12v reducer hookup clarification
Since yours doesn't have a seperate "activate wire" to turn it on & off, I would put it on all the time, or use a relay to turn it on & off with the key switch. Most dc converters make a spark when the connection is made. That spark is a rush of current to power it up. That spark will happen inside your keyswitch every time you turn it on, wearing out the keyswitch contacts. That style ezgo keyswitch already wears out more often than others I have seen. That's one reason I avoid the cheaper DC convertors without the activate wire.

Use a relay like the one for a 48v CC charger.

Re: 48v-12v reducer hookup clarification
I've been searching and can't find any, but does any local stores sell the T9AP1D52-48 relays that I can pick up in the morning or do I have to order them? And also does anyone have a wire diagram for the relay and the 1n4004 diode installed? Thanks for the help guys!
