Default I did it - got my first cart. THANK YOU.

I can honestly say that I would not have bought a cart had I not found this site. Getting my questions answered, the friendly helpfulness of everyone, and knowing I'll have great support down the road made me comfortable taking it on.

So thank you! (I think )

The short story: I started looking at a 2007-9 PDS and putting a chip in it. Through the research, I identified a good deal on a few RXVs but decided they weren't for me (may or may not have been the best decision, but still). It was suggested that I consider a 48v TXT, which I did. I liked the concept of not having to upgrade to 48v later, and also getting a newer cart.

I found a 2014 TXT that I got for $2900 programmed and delivered. After more input from the forum I purchased a few days ago!

Details: it was a hard choice at the end. I got to drive a 2007 PDS with chip and 12" wheels, and the darn thing did have nice pickup and did 19-20mph.

The 2014 does 19mph, but (I think) it felt like it the 2007 had a little faster acceleration but not quite as much torque. Don't know if the larger wheels help with acceleration on the 2007 - the 2014 has stock wheels for now.

The 2014 did drive nice and fast enough with the programming I felt, and it's clean.

(let me know if you have any feedback on my thoughts above)

So thank you BobBoyce and kgsc and cgtech and FF Titus and mutley and coosa and mutant and JohnnieB and FluxCapacitor and 03psd73 and DieselPlower and DIRTPT HC and Dela and kernal and of course scottyb and everyone else I missed.

I'm continuing my research on my next steps, so stay tuned for more threads.

You're very welcome and welcome to the club! The Iphone has an app for speed, so you should be able to find out how fast you're going. For $2,900 delivered, I feel you did very well.

When you put bigger tires on the 2014 your top speed will increase a good amount

You got it - but I did feel the need to pimp it a bit. :-)
