This much, roughly 4x over stock cables

6g = 79.5lb/1000ft
4g = 126.1lb/1000ft
2g = 200.3lb/1000ft
1/0 = 316.8/1000ft

All figures were highest strand count included in chart (not highest weight in all cases?).

Just to be safe, look at how the cable could be routed, and see how flexible it is. Strand count should be adequate, but what about the insulation?

Battery post strain is one consideration. Another are the cables that go to the motor, as those are constantly flexing as you drive.

The description says "appliance cable", which may be flexible now, but how well will it hold up over the years.

Not saying it's bad, just being cautious when dealing with an unknown. Does it feel like it was meant to be flexed thousands of times per year (pulled that number out of my arse) as you don't want the insulation leading to the motor to fail, which could be quite sparky, unless fused.

Can't be much. We ain't talking about hundreds of pounds. Just a couple, if I were to guess, based on the roll of AWG2 I bought for 8 batteries. I'm talking about the difference between stock and AWG2.

I'd guess a stereo and speakers would weigh more than the difference. Oops, we're talking about 1/0 vs. stock, not AWG2 vs. stock. Still...

Just curious but do they make crimp or solder fittings for 1/0 cable that fit your battery studs?
