Re: FSIP speed motor install TXT48
By the way I set the rev limit at 6500 and on 18 inch tires I hit 27.5 with authority - with 20 inch tires I would have been over 30.
I was just talking with wheels about having a temp gauge made to suit us. I anticipate the end of summer arrival. As a promotion I will be sending one out with every motor when they do arrive...... but for now we gotta make due with the mish-mosh on amazon. |

Re: FSIP speed motor install TXT48
Looking forward to the PQ results. On mine I cut the OEM pigtail and soldered. I shrink wrapped each little wire then put a bigger adhesive lined shrink tube over all 3. It seems good enough for forever. I see no reason to ever change this motor. I will put a temp sensor on it as we discussed in the emails.

Re: FSIP speed motor install TXT48
Yes, and the bolts have good access and long shoulders. I like the main terminals are female - unlike studs that can get damaged in shipping.

Re: FSIP speed motor install TXT48
I like female "bolts" as well. My next set of batteries will have different bolt options, as I like the thought of not having to worry about over-tightening the bolts on embedded studs.

Re: FSIP speed motor install TXT48
Scotty, I know they make 36v PDS version, but will this work in an upgraded 48v PDS cart? Do you know the min. voltage? I have one of the Lithium packs that I operate from 50v all the way down to 40v.

Re: FSIP speed motor install TXT48
Essentially all the TXT48 is is a 48v version PDS. So I don't see why you could not run the same set up I have here with the XCT for PDS on 50-40v

Re: FSIP speed motor install TXT48
I just worry about the lower voltage side of it. Would I damage the motor by not feed enough volts? Would there be any adverse side effects to the Alltrax controller?
