97 dcs new alltrax, nothing.

Hello All,
Have a 97 dcs. Put in a new alltrax & solenoid. (Thanks, Scotty!)

But, still no go. I think my tow/run switch is bad. How to test? I tried continuity testing, thinking that the top two posts would test with switch one way and the bottom two test with the switch the other way. I get continuity on the top two posts no matter which way the switch is???

Guess I could join the two wires for run mode and see what happens.

If still nothing, I'll search for testing the alltrax. No LED. No click on solenoid.

No LED + no click indicates no power. The Run tow switch is a simply 2 on/off switches side by side with one lever. should be constant + power on one side (both terminals) and then when closed power (+) on all 4 terminals.

Test by connecting the blk meter lead to the battery main (-) and touching the red lead to the terminals. Readings should match the pack voltage.

I tested and the switch was bad. So I temporarily taped all 4 wires together and it worked!!!

Scotty, that Alltrax controller is sweet. Much better performance in the cart. Now, off to order a switch.
