SR48400 response is intermittent
I apologize if this thread has already been created, but couldn't find anything in my quick search. I just installed a new SR48400 with 200 amp Solenoid, along with the SW182 F/R switch. Wow, what a task for a rookie.
Anyway, the solenoid is "clicking" on every press of the accelerator, however the cart response is intermittent. As long as I do not remove my foot from the accelerator it will keep running. But the minute I take my foot off and try to go again, I have to press the accelerator multiple times to get a response. This doesn't seem normal and I am curious why? Only codes flashing is (4) green leds, then (1) red and that's if it is a full throttle. If I pull up on the accelerator 1/2" the green led stays on. Any help is appreciated. |

I am aware that initially you did not find the resistor and diodes - they are needed.
Are a pre-charge resistor and diodes installed? |

Re: SR48400 response is intermittent
ScottyB,
Precharge resistor is installed across the solenoid, along with (1) diode. The F/R switch also has both diodes installed. I found (2) diodes in the original F/R switch box so please don't send others. I installed those this morning. Why would the response be intermittent and not instant on every press of the accelerator? |

Re: SR48400 response is intermittent
There is a know issue with the throttle lineal-ization with some Ezgo throttle signal response. Below is the fix from Alltrax:
The hesitation on start we believe is a problem with how the linearized throttle position is set, if someone gets that have them pull up the toolkit, make sure they can see linearized throttle position (a check box in the tools options window will let you see it if they can’t already). We want to check the Big double sided arrow in the top left corner, if you hover your mouse over it you should see a number pop up. If it’s a high number drop it to 5% if it’s already at 5% drop it to 1% and see if that helps. Keep us posted. |

Re: SR48400 response is intermittent
Use a common printer cable. usb1 to usb2.
The toolkit software is a free download here > http://www.alltraxinc.com/Products_XCT.html The toolkit manual is here > http://www.alltraxinc.com/files/Doc1...kit-Manual.pdf Be careful what you change in there. You can render the controller inoperable. So not clicking buttons to see what this will do. Read the manual - twice |

Re: SR48400 response is intermittent
I have found an issue where a quick pedal release with a real quick mash will result in no throttle. The fix I have found for this is uncheck the "high pedal disable" box in the controller software.

Re: SR48400 response is intermittent
ScottyB,
I hovered over the double sided arrow and it is at 1%. CGTECH, Where would i find the "high pedal disable" located? Under a certain drop down? |

Re: SR48400 response is intermittent
CGTECH,
The "high pedal disable" box is not currently checked, but the "relay off at zero throttle" is checked. |

Re: SR48400 response is intermittent
Guys, i just drove the cart up and down the street and all acted well. Only problem i now have is that i am not able to "ease" the throttle down without a jerky (slam your head back) response. I try to feather the throttle for easy driving and it doesnt like that at all. I don't want to drive around WOT all the time.
