Well, it's not an Ezgo part, so it's not good idea to plug it into the cart harness. That means running wires. As far as it's performance, never tried one myself.

I don't see the harness interface shown, and would not trust such a meter not knowing how it would interface to the controller. The controller is the smarts of the E-Z-GO SOC meter, and like cgtech, I would be concerned with anything aftermarket connected to its SOC 5V digital I/O port without knowing how that device interfaces. What complicates matters is, there are several "standards" for logic levels... The original 5V/0V, and several newer voltage points that are lower for more modern digital devices. This can be anything from 3.3V/0V down to 1.6V/0V. A 5V/0V logic interface will not function reliably with a device that has a logic level lower than 2.6V/0V

That's interesting. Still a little shady about non Ezgo stuff on that plug, but it does look pretty cool.

That's the same one another member here showed 3 days ago. I would not recommend it because there are no digital specs given. You can really only use a SOC meter with a 5V/0V logic level I/O state on an RXV. More modern digtal devices can have logic I/O states as low as 1.6V/0V and the Curtis controller, as a legacy digital device, will not reliably recognize a logic state of less than 2.6V as a logic 1 on it's SOC I/O port. Let's just say that not all microprocessor chips communicate at the same voltage level. The newer they are, the lower the voltage they use tends to be. Not many use a voltage level converter to keep them compatible with legacy digital devices. I hope this is not too confusing.

If enough people are interested, I would be willing to test one to see if it is compatible, after I get back from DC.

I did not check the sellers but the difference I saw and the only reason I posted the new link was the "plug & Play" pigtail...
