Re: Battery Voltmeter
I've seen several posts by cgtech stating that it is normal for the receptacle light not to blink with the DPI or other non powerwise chargers. My friends RXV doesn't blink with his DPI and all has been well for a year.
My RXV came with a Lester Links charger and the receptacle light does blink but I seem to be the oddball. |

Re: Battery Voltmeter
YES! It's important to have your charger know what batteries it's charging (some offer "modes" for different batteries). It will work in the short term (your batteries aren't ruined yet). But for long healthy battery life it's a real thing. Trojan batteries want a different charge than US batteries do. (There is even a difference if you have 6x 8v Trojan T-875 vs 8x 6v Trojan T-105 if you want to get down to the brass tacks). It is a real thing for overall battery life.

Re: Battery Voltmeter
You can call DPI to verify:
Mode selections: Mode 1 - Flooded US Batteries Mode 2 - Flooded Trojan Batteries Mode 3 - Flooded Exide Batteries Mode 4 - Crown/AGM Batteries |

Re: Battery Voltmeter
mode 1= 2.50 volts per cell (VPC)at charger cut off and transition to float mode
mode 2= 2.35 VPC mode 3= 2.40 VPC mode 4= 2.45 VPC Note: This data is several years old. DPI has released a new version of the accusense. I don't know if this applies to them. |

Ok I couldn't take it anymore knowing Bob had this SOC meter and I didn't. He did say it was pretty nice so I ordered one. Mine came plug and play only thing I did was to drill a 1/2" hole for the selector button. I did put the button on the bottom of the dash so it wouldn't show. I would highly recommend this meter... Sorry Bob I got one now too... Meter isn't turned on in the pictures sorry... |

Re: Battery Voltmeter
Nice meter! I'm not happy with my OEM as it over ranges after a charge so one must interpolate a bit. You say this one was plug & play, wires all connected and compatible with the existing SOC meter plug? How about instructions?
