EZGo windshield help
With the addition of the sound bar the windshield no longer fits. My wife is adamant I figure something out to knock down the wind. I know I can use the rubber C clamp type to hold it up after I lop off the top what's needed but is there something better? I hate that I won't be able to use the rubber at the bottom either to hold it when it's folded. I'm most likely going to have it folder more than not.

Re: EZGo windshield help
Remount the sound bar to the INSIDE edge of the windshield frame?

Show us another picture of the mount. Something that is clearer so we can see what you're up against. |

Re: EZGo windshield help
Here's where I'm at. I'm content cutting the winshield, but I don't know how to secure it when folded since the rubber pieces receive the curved portion of the existing windshield.

Re: EZGo windshield help
You could cut it and add or relocate the stops.
Or you can use some steel spacers and longer bolts to move the sound bar inward. Tube spacers can be very handy for relocating mounts like this. This way you save the windshield. Nice bar! |

Re: EZGo windshield help
Thought the exact same thing. Get some spacers to push the sound bar towards the passengers. I don't like the idea of cutting up the windshield at all.

Re: EZGo windshield help
Looking at those mounts, it looks to me like you could mount it facing down and behind the top rail of the roof support? that will put it inside the cart leaving plenty of room for the screen.
