Default EZGo windshield help

With the addition of the sound bar the windshield no longer fits. My wife is adamant I figure something out to knock down the wind. I know I can use the rubber C clamp type to hold it up after I lop off the top what's needed but is there something better? I hate that I won't be able to use the rubber at the bottom either to hold it when it's folded. I'm most likely going to have it folder more than not.

Remount the sound bar to the INSIDE edge of the windshield frame?

I've got zero play in the mounting options for the soundbar. Mounting options for this were challenging to say the least. Lots of beers and bandaids.

C'mon, you know the solution is not to hack up a perfectly good windshield. You need to rethink your existing mount and get the speaker out of play of the windshield. I understand you fought with it to get this far, but you fought the wrong battle.

Show us another picture of the mount. Something that is clearer so we can see what you're up against.

Here's where I'm at. I'm content cutting the winshield, but I don't know how to secure it when folded since the rubber pieces receive the curved portion of the existing windshield.

You could cut it and add or relocate the stops.
Or you can use some steel spacers and longer bolts to move the sound bar inward.
Tube spacers can be very handy for relocating mounts like this.
This way you save the windshield.
Nice bar!

Thought the exact same thing. Get some spacers to push the sound bar towards the passengers. I don't like the idea of cutting up the windshield at all.

Looking at those mounts, it looks to me like you could mount it facing down and behind the top rail of the roof support? that will put it inside the cart leaving plenty of room for the screen.
