2001 txt not working after washing

I washed my 2001 ez go txt about and afterward it would not move forward only backwards. So I backed it into the shed and let it dry out and when I came back to it a few days later it wouldn't move at all. Doesn't even try to move forward or backwards and when you turn the key on and flip the F/R switch the solenoid isn't clicking as well as the charge meter I installed isn't working.

Happened to me a few times - I found that water was in the controller not allowing connectivity - I stuck a paper towel in to dry out and all worked fine. The smallest pool of water can cause it - what type of controller do you have?

My run/tow switch caused a similar issue for me. I put the cart in reverse, no buzzer sound. Then I flipped the run/tow switch a bunch of times until the buzzer started working. When the buzzer worked the cart would run. So there was some water causing an issue and moving the switch cleared the water.

Water in the pedal box will cause that too.

Under the floor mat, remove cover, blow dryer.

I should've also mentioned that the cart has been sitting for quite a while now since this happened so any water should have dried out by now. Also my cart doesn't have a buzzer as it was used for hunting. Sorry for taking so long to respond I have very little time to mess with this thing due to school.
