Default 95 36v EZ-GO Medalist won’t run

I have a 95 36v EZ-GO medalist that I cannot figure out how to fix. I replaced all of the batteries approximately 4 months ago and it ran like a champ then stopped moving unexpectedly one day. The solenoid would click but the cart would not move in forward or reverse. Early “self diagnosis” but reading forums had me to believe it was the controller so I replaced it with a new one. That didn’t correct the issue. Additional reading suggested the solenoid was bad so I replaced it and the resistors as well.... still won’t move. I’m at a loss! The batteries are fully charged, I have full voltage coming to the controller and solenoid but no current coming out of the controller. Any suggestions on how I can troubleshoot this further?

check your throttle. you can find how to test. if it's open, then you won't get voltage out of the controller because it doesn't know you're pushing the pedal down.

Test the motor, yours is a series.
The brushes could be worn out or sticking.
Motor must be mounted in the cart and cart on jack stands for safety.

To test run a SERIES motor

Remove all cables from the motor; connect a jumper from A1 to S1. Connect 12 to 24 volts, positive @ A2 and negative @ S2. Swap S1 and S2 to change rotation direction.

To test run a Sep-Ex (regen) motor

Remove all cables from the motor; connect a jumper from A1 to F1 and a jumper from A2 to F2. Connect 12 to 24 volts, positive @ A1/F1 and negative @ A2/F2. Swap F1 and F2 to change rotation direction.

CAUTION:
Allowing a motor to spin @ high RPM can cause catastrophic failure!
Also check the f/r switch.

I've had the same problem. Replaced the F/R switch, changed solenoid , changed throttle sensor in pedal. Next move is to replace Controller... my motor turns when jumped. But I'm getting full power from controller on B-M- when throttle is pressed. So I think it's controller. Oh and batteries are maybe a year old.

Well, it wasn’t the throttle sensor. I tested the old one the way it was explained and I was pretty confident the problem was the sensor. Replaced it and still no success. Next step is to test the motor I guess. This thing is about to become target practice!
