Default 2002 TXT EZGO wiring problems

Greetings all,

I recently bought a 2002 EZGO from a private seller and the only thing mentioned was that it had a new speed modulator installed (1206 model/series) and no batteries. They would just have to be installed and it would run.

I then looked up the technician manual for the cart to make sure the wires were put in correctly. Turns out they were not and redid them according to the manual. Now the cart doesn't run at all. Motor works when tested but wires are not matching up. There is also, I believe, a part missing for the solenoid for the gas pedal because there are a couple of wires randomly hanging out.

If anyone has dealt with this issue before, I appreciate all the help!

Hello,

They are taken out so that it was easier to work on and for viewing purposes. They're still in my shop next to the cart.

Do you know how much the sensors cost by chance?

Thanks!

$189 from EZGO. $30 +or- from various online sources. Some of these are not new. I suggest paying a little more for a new one. After installation there is an adjustment procedure/check. It's in the service manual and has been posted in this forum somewhere.

ITS (inductive throttle sensor)
