Also check to see if you have an inline connector in the wiring harness between the ITS and controller, it is a known problem area when it gets wet/dirty. You can disconnect it and clean it or some like to eliminate it. I know my cart would always studder right after I washed it if that connector got wet.

Yep. Mine wasn't just a problem when wet. I could hop on and get nothing. I unplugged/pluged at least several times a year, so I ended cutting off the molex connectors and soldered and heat shrinked them.

I don't think the TXT48 has got that connector, but it's worth a try to check. Also I think he was getting voltage to the coil as well as the negative from the controller when he pressed the pedal. Still thinking bad solenoid, unless it goes back to working when it dries out.

I don't know if it does or not either but these are from a 2010 TXT48 service manual. Also don't know the year of the OP's cart!

My bad. I thought they did away with it in the late 2000's. I've seen some PDS models that didn't have one. Definitely worth checking.
