Default Upgrading body to newer model questions

I’ve searched every way I can think on here, YouTube and google and can’t find much information.

I have a 98 TXT and I’m installing a 2015 TXT body. Cowl and rear went on fine, but started hitting problems when I started putting other parts back on.

-Seems the corners on the rear bumper don’t align.
- Is this correct? Do I have to buy a 2014+ rear bumper?

-front 4-5” of the “kick plate” doesn’t mount flush
- Looks like I can take a Dremel and shave off part of the support structure of the plate to make it sit flush. Will that work?

-rear fold down seat has about a 1” gap on the main supports.
- Was thinking about cutting a 1” piece of wood to act as a spacer and keep it off the rear fender wells. I’m sure there is a bracket to convert it, but can’t find anything.

What else will I find that doesn’t fit?

Default Re: Upgrading body to newer model questions

94-13 is the correct style, 2014+ fits the frame.

The rear bumper, you need the "J hooks" PN 71554G01 then the bolt to hold them in place. It's a PITA.

The fenders do not fit correctly either.

Rear seat: Add washers to where the the 4 bolts mount the seat housing. The add to the L brackets, etc.

Lets see, the front roof strut 94-13, people are already adding the 14+ 1" bracket, messing up the windshield sash length, etc, that's always fun.

I think that's about it of the top of my head.
