Default Battery cable corrosion

Does anyone have any sure fire fixes to corrosion on your cables?

I have 2 carts one is a factory 48v and one I converted to 48volt with the 36 volt motor and an alltrax controller. The converted one I made my own cables and they corrode real bad about every month. The factory 48volt I just noticed corrosion starting and those cables are at least 2 months old.

Be sure they are clean and tight enough. Anti-corrosion spray works well.

The cart that is the worst has anti corrosion spray on them. Still about once a month I take them apart and clean them.

When I ran LA batteries I slathered (as recommended by an electrician) this on the battery cable ends and the battery post. You can buy this at either Home Depot or Lowes. Now...if you notice the two corroded nuts in the pic.....this is because I didn't need to clean the terminals for like 9 months or perhaps even more. But.....the battery terminal nuts will break down like this. No green puffy corrosion ......but.....you should always "check your nuts" every few months!! BTW....if you don't have every piece of exposed cable end & terminal slathered with this .....green puffy stuff will occur.
