Default Energize small poles

Short version... Replaced my HD solenoid on my 2005 precedent after the cart quit running. No solenoid clicks and appeared to need replacement after a few tests with a volt meter.

I replaced the solenoid with a SW200. After install the cart still isn't running, small poles still show no volatge with peddle depressed. The motor makes a shuttering sound when peddle is depressed.

I've attached a couple of pictures from alltrax toolkit. One with the peddle not depressed and one with the peddle depressed.

How do I troubleshoot the activation circuit?

Yep it does. I don't have an obc, I removed it when I installed the alltrax controller and onboard charger.

The Negative Permissive is supplied to the solenoid by the Controller, after it sees all the Positive Permissives. With the cart jacked up for safety, the key On, in Fwd, and Go Pedal depressed, you should read 48v (or pack voltage) between the two (2) small posts of the solenoid. If you are not, place the Red probe on the Main Pack Positive and the Black probe on the small Blue w/White wire at the solenoid's small post. If you have it, then you have probably lost a Positive Permissive and we need to check more....

I'm getting no voltage when peddle is up and 1.7 or so when the peddle is pressed. Also getting a couple red flashes from the controller when the peddle is depressed. Nolesfsn where are you from? I'm less than an hour from Tallahassee.

And that reading was taken as described above, between the MPP post and the Blue wire w/White stripe at the small solenoid post?

If so, lets check these. With (one wheel jacked up), get your DVM and place the Black probe on the pack Neg and then with the key On, cart in Fwd, and Go Pedal depressed far enough to hear the microswitch click, take the Red probe and check to see if you have pack voltage in the following pins at the controller: Pin 5 - Lgt Blue (must be >30v), Pin 6 - Green, Pin 8 - Brown, Pin 9 - Grey, and Pin 10 - Tan.

Make sure the diode is properly installed on the new Solenoid as the Alltrax will behave like that if the diode is backwards.

I'll run home at lunch and try this test nolesfan and also take a picture of my solenoid wiring to be sure I have it correct.

The diode is likely backwards, if You look at the second monitor screenshot the Controller has indeed activated the Solenoid which indicates it received all needed signals.

I ran home and swapped the diode and that fixed it. I was hesitant to try that earlier for fear of damaging the diode. Thanks guys.
