Default Spartan body with deluxe led light kit

Is there a 48v to 12v reducer included with the wiring harness or do I need to wire to an aftermarket 48v-12v reducer? There appears to be a reducer, so I wired to 48v but nothing works. Also, how do you mount/configure the brake light switch? The body kit and lights look nice, but there are no instructions...

No one has run into this before? Thought for sure someone would have bought one of these and had these questions. I have contacted the company, awaiting a response. Will update in case someone else has similar questions.

That kit looks like it came with a rectifier/regulator that should only be used on 12v systems. It's probably a kit for a gas cart. You will need a separate 48-12 reducer for your cart, and will need to wire the light kit to the 12v side of the reducer.

Contact Doubletake for instructions. I'm not sure what you're thinking is a reducer, but that box under the fuse panel is the timer for the brake lights. Same light kit for gas or electric. You should use a reducer though. The LEDS would probably be fine with the 48 volts, but not the flasher or the horn.

Instructions are on their site. A reducer is not included with the kit. They are 12 volt lights.

Ok. Have a 48v-12v reducer hooked up. No headlights, horn works, right taillight is bright, left taillight is dim and right rear turn signal works. Right front turn signal works but dim, left front turn signal works dim but stays lit as a running light as it is blinking. Did it burn something up hooking to 48v?

So do I need to replace the whole lighting package or just the relay? Aggravated with myself for not just using the 48v-12v in the first place...
