Double edged sword... I’m trying to fix it. [emoji38]

But the time away from driving is helping it to sink in. I haven’t given him the parts bill yet either.

Well, I put everything back together and base of the 2 front shocks are 3/8" from being square to the front bumper (frame). The side that hit the tree is 3/8" further back than the opposite side.

The bumper is square with the 2 front bolts that attach the suspension tower to the frame. The suspension components went back together reasonably easy, but took a little effort. I chalk it up to new bushings and my first time doing this rather than uncorrected damage.

Do you think this is an acceptable variance or something is still "off"?

Sounds like the shock tower is bent, but if it drives okay it probably isn't a big deal. How does the cart track down the road?

Remove the 4 long bolts that hold the shock tower to the frame and see if they're bent.
When you re-install the bolts the tower will have a little bit of wiggle room where you can square it up before tightening the bolts down.
Possible the tower is bent, but it shouldn't really affect much. Just straighten it up as best you can.
When you put it all back together make sure you adjust the leaf spring to center the camber.

Drives fine, but I think something is bent.

Wheel or spindle?

The inside of wheel was damaged and I tried my best to straighten. I think it's the spindle.

What's your vote?
