Default G8 died- no power at key switch

I have a g8 running on 3 12v batteries and was driving it yesterday and it was starting to lose power like it needed a charge so I was taking it back to the shop to charge and then it just quit. Solenoid isn’t making any noise when I press the petal and I have a battery meter connected to my key switch and it no longer has power.

I tried jumping the solenoid and that wasn’t it. As far as I can tell there is only one small 10amp fuse under the seat and it’s fine. Anyone have any ideas?

Start with the batteries. How old are they? What is your current pack voltage? Do the cells have water covering the plates?

Is this a controller or resistor cart?

Figured it out. Took the body off and started checking wires and there was a small wire coming from the charging plug that had come unplugged. I’m guessing this is the reed switch that I’ve seen others talk about. Anyway it must have completed the circuit because it had power and everything worked like it should once I plugged it back in
