Plates in batteries exposed
Noticed my 48 volt cart wasn't holding a charge as long. Went to check the water levels of my mid-90's club car. Plates in batteries were exposed and I couldn't see any water. Do I need to add a small amount of water then charge?
I've heard both never add water before charging, and I've heard add a little to cover the plates, charge, then add a little more. |

Re: Plates in batteries exposed
Add water to cover the plates then charge, then add water to about 1/4" below the fill tube bottom after charging.
You'll never get the full capacity back, but a few cycles will get them better than they are now. |
