Default Is this wired right?

Well ladies and gentlemen,

My new farm cart! It was on a dairy farm for 2 years in the junk pile.

Pulled it out gave the lady some cash and hauled her home.

Got told today its Ezgo 2000 TXT Standard. Dont know what that means...

I have downloaded the manuals here on buggies gone wild and notice its wired in a series fashion. Controller is a curtis 25864G05.

My question to you all, are those wires in the right place?

The blk wire from controller B- to solenoid small negative may be an addon. Does the cart run?

The cart does not run. I did all voltage checks. Everything checks out normal. In the parts list it says White wire on solonoid from power harness? I dont have a white wire?

The Blk wire from B- was on the drawing. The second one goes to the beeper.

I did this test that JohnnieB suggested to another member and my DVM read 2.8 volts at the controller (B- and M-) and as the pedal was pushed down it went into the negative. I followed the flow chart of voltage and all the other contact points read battery voltage, except C on the forward and reverse controller or A2 from the motor.

Can someone help me out on this one???

Bigb

Test Suggested:
Connect your DVM between the controller's B- and M- terminals.

Charger not plugged into cart, key ON and F/R in F.

Push pedal just far enough to make solenoid click and you should read full battery pack voltage (38.2V if fully charged).

If you don't get the voltage, leave the Black test lead on the B- terminal and go looking for the missing voltage with the Red test lead.

Attached is a series drive schematic with the high current circuit highlighted.

Thank you JohnnieB!

The wire tracing from B- and M- worked. My Battery - was bad and that led me to trace wires from there. The wire trace led me to F/R not fully opening and closing the mico switches.

Did the adjustments on the nuts and bolts and my cart came to life!

Thanks JohnnieB!
