What type of Roof is this?
Can anyone identify the top on my cart? It is an extended too with a silver metal band around it and the “buttons” on the metal band are magnetic. Thanks for any help.

Re: What type of Roof is this?
Looks like an Ezgo extended top and I would guess that the silver buttons are to attatch a soft weather enclosure(?).

Re: What type of Roof is this?
Probably a generic top but doesn’t matter. What is your question?

Re: What type of Roof is this?
posted a bad picture of my cart. but looking closer at your pictures it looks like those are snaps for a weather covering of some sort.

Re: What type of Roof is this?
Looks like the same roof that came factory on my txt 2+2 shuttle.
Snaps were most likely added for an enclosure at some point. Extended roofs are great when having a back seat. As for enclosures I bought and aftermarket that fits overtop, similar to cover would bungee straps that connect to bottom of body, but has windows and door zippers to roll up for when not needed. Nice for cooler weather or rainy days at campground plus can be removed and rolled up when not in use 😊 |

Re: What type of Roof is this?
That is a fairly standard top used by EZGO and others for years and even to this day I believe. There are thousands of carts where i am and you see that a lot. The cart in the picture is equipped as it came from the factory except for the wheels.
I have never seen one with all the snaps/magnetic buttons or whatever they are. An enclosure of some kind is a good guess but I've never seen one like that and usually there would be some similar attachments very low on the cart to keep the side curtains from blowing around rendering them useless. |
