1996 TXT Build Thread

Hey guys, so.. now that I have an idea of what I plan to do, figured to make a build thread so I can keep my momentum going heh. I know, you all do this stuff all the time, but figured to have some fun and nothing is as fun as sharing the "really?" moments.. lol.. even if they are normal for you all ;)

Anyway, started really removing things today, after work. I do not count pulling the dead batteries out heh...

So removed the roof.. that was not as easy as it seems as it all started falling apart due to.. wait for it.. JBweld...yes. Now, the magical cure all for many things, but structural steel is not one of them... especially when a welder would have made fast work of a repair. We will fix that :P

But.. sorta sad.. he's starting to look more like the project he is..(I say he as my son named him George.. lol)

So... taking things off so I can start tackling each piece.

Need to pull parts off, make room, and figure out where to store them till they are ready to go back together....hence why I plan to give away as much as I can that I do not use as I hate hording and taking up room in my shop lol
