HD F/R switch wireing to motor
Im installing a new HD F,R switch. on the instructions I received on the carts unlimited it shows
IMG_1825 jpeg.jpg where B is cable 8 and goes to S2 and D is cable 5 and goes to S1 On the HD F&R continuity test I also received it shows IMG_1826 jpeg.jpg as you can see 5 and 8 are swapped in the diagram it still has 8 going to S2 and 5 going to S1 My question is looking at the F&R switch from the back which side do I install the #8 and #5 cable Thank you Mike Block |

Re: HD F/R switch wireing to motor
There is more than one way to wire a series cart so we do often see small discrepancies like this. You should follow the way it was originally if just changing the F&R. The easiest method is to mark the cables using the 12 hour clock method to ID the cable positions like 9 oclock 12 oclock etc.
Note if the cart runs forward in reverse then you will swap S1 and S2. I hope this helps |
