I looked pretty hard for this rubber trim for my 84' Marathon a month or so ago. What I found was it appears to be discontinued with no replacement, I found that on a couple websites (vintagecarts or something like that rings a bell). There was a roll on ebay but it was crazy expensive so I decided to take mine off and go smooth with no rubber trim.

Wish I would have done that at this point. Already have cart painted and ready to go back together. If I would have realized it was so hard to find before I would have taken the metal edging off and went that way. Found where it has part number and listing on a couple sites but when call it's no longer available. I found a roll somewhere awhile back but they wanted $300.

Was it hard to remove? It looks to be spot welded in a few places. I was thinking of using some automotive trim instead.

I know this is an old thread, but what did you decide? How did it turn out? Working on my 82 and I am going to have to figure something out for trim.
