Ezgo txt won’t go forward but goes reverse
Just picked up an ezgo txt believe it’s an 89 solenoid runs and shows power in reverse f/r switch has been replaced, solenoid has been replaced. Have power everywhere needed in reverse when I put into drive I don’t get any power wondering if my f/r switch is wired improperly wanting to get this thing running before the wife’s birthday to surprise her for it

The solenoid doesn’t click in reverse until I hit the pedal and then the motor engages the solenoid gets power in reverse just not in drive

I have replaced the mini switch for the gas pedal, when I have the switch in forward it does not click I have metered the solenoid and I don’t get any voltage on the middle terminals of the solenoid

If it doesn’t click when the pedal is pushed in forward there is probably a wiring issue on the microswitches on the fnr switch or it is out of alignment.

I’m thinking you might have the switches wiring reversed. If you rotate the puck one switch will activate on F and R. The other one will only activate in reverse only. The wire to the solenoid should be on the switch that closes on both..
Where do the two blue wires on the left switch go? It appears to be the “run” switch and should have the wire going to the solenoid. |
