Default Help G9 driving me crazy

I have been working on a g9. For a while now, when you start it it will run for a while, then it will start bogging down and eventually stop, sometimes you can let off the throttle and let it stop completely and it will start back up. You can adjust the pilot screw on the carb and it will take back off.and run good for a while. That is why I changed the carb.it did the same thing with the old carb. I have put a new coil on it, new carb, adjusted valves, changed fuel lines, vacuum lines, sealed air box ,tried different fuel pump, different ignitor, spark plug, changed fuel filters, added a ground from the negative terminal to the frame. I am at my wits end. Any help you guys could give me would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would start to suspect elect. The kill switch under the throttle pedel, the key switch, long shot, but selonoid maybe, or just a broken wire.
The big guys will be by shortly.

How long does it run before it bogs down?
Will it restart immediatly or how long do you have to wait?
Does it shut down again after it restarts?
As soon as it stops pull the plug wire and stick it on a spare plug to see if you truly do have spark.

I dont know much about those gas units but does the gas cap have to be vented? It's just a thought with what you have explained how its acting.

Did you change (or remove) the fuel filter inside the gas tank?

Thanks guys for the quick responses. I will check the electrical parts today, any ideas on how to check those.
Crash it varies on how long. At one point I thought I had it fixed rode it about an hour no problems. Took it to the lady; she rode it about 20 mins and it started the same thing.

It actually never quits running, just starts missing and running real bad. I can turn the adjustment screw on the carbuerator (for the air mixture) about an 1/8 of a turn either way and it will start running well again. (Even with the new carb.)

Flint Rock - Yes I did.

Thanks,
Earl

Sounds like an air leak to me. check the plastic manifold spacer between the carb and the head for cracks. May need to replace it, about $18.
Also follow Crash and Flint's lead. They are the Heavys on the sight, I'm the light weight here. I know cars but not golf cars!
Good luck, Mike

I checked that when I put the new carb on. I appreciate the suggestion though.

Thanks Earl
