Default G2 rear diff need help please

Ok I have a couple threads on here going. As some of you know I am building a G2. I am putting a cbr 600 f2 motor in it. I have some questions about the rear diff. Some one told me to take out the governor stuff so it doesn't grenade my rear diff. How do I do this?? What do I have to do to the rear diff to make this cart come alive.
I have alot of good ideas for the rest of everything but I am having trouble with this. I cant even figure out how to get the drums off. I am familiar with auto rear diffs so I am not totally ignorant to gearing.
Any help would be nice.
Thank you all..

i think it is like an early 90s I can't find any tags on it. I don't even know where to find them when I did look.

There maybe 2 holes in the drum the equivalent of 1/4" what ever it is in metric...6mm.?
Anyway, screw them into each hole(they are threaded) little at a time and they will pull the drum away. Work gently and evenly until you see how they work.
Good luck Mike

Cool, thanks. I didn't just want to get on them like a car drum because I don't know the inner workings of the brakes yet. I don't know if maybe they wore a grove around the inside and they are just too tight and wont come off now or what.

Anything on the gearing?? I want to take out the governor stuff but I am not sure how or if is possible.

Now do I have to do any thing else to the rear diff when I remove the governor or is that it?? I don't have to add anything or weld anything?

Ok I took the rear diff apart. I took step by step pics to help anyone else out that might need it. I thought it would be more than it was. It wasn't you just need to make sure you keep your shims in place. Take the rear diff apart slowly.
This goes from the rear diff together to the case opened and what the gears look like once the case has been opened. The part I removed was the governor and the weights. I just took out the whole assembly rather than just the weights. I did put the center part back in just so it doesn't knock it off balance too much.
