I agree with Mike--don't weld those brackets to the frame. If it's "cheap", you may be changing it out. Lets see some pics of how the lift kit is installed. The pic of the kit on BU is very small.

Mike,

I was just going to weld for stability. The welds will get painted. But I'll think about it. I am also not just going to build this Yamaha. I understand that building bug.. I already have it. I only paid 150$ for this cart. I know of a bunch in my area and I am planning on building this one and then doing a couple more. Thanks for all this insight.

Pete

hello pete, i see a problem with your lift kit that i also encountered while installing mine. same kit same cart. look at your rear end its not true.the drivers side is ahead of the passenger side. this is because our kits did not include a rear stabilizer bracket so you stabilizer is pulling you rear forward on the drivers side this will be more noticable with tires installed it will be way out of alignment. i am calling tomorrow to see why it was excluded from the kit. take a look and tell me if you see the same thing.

I welded a new tube in and I am still waiting for my wheels. I bought storm trooper 10x 7 and have 4, 20- 11-10 's sitting in my shop... Believe me I want to ride this but since I have to wait a couple more weeks for the wheels I think I might paint the engine to match( son's idea... and I did buy the cart for him.) I am looking at the end of the month and we should be ready to scratch it all up. I also called some site sponsors to see if the had those rims in stock and I cant seem to find them so i am just waintin. Will post more pics as soon as I get more done.
